Heritage Guitar was founded in 1985 by former Gibson craftsmen who stayed behind in Gibson's original Kalamazoo, Michigan factory (the historic '225 Parsons Street' building) after Gibson relocated production to Nashville. The company builds archtop and solidbody electrics closely descended from classic Gibson designs, organized into the Standard II Collection and Historic-inspired Eagle and Golden Eagle archtops.
