Lowden Guitars is a Northern Irish acoustic guitar maker founded by luthier George Lowden in 1974, credited with originating the wide-waisted, narrow-hipped body outline (the O and F shapes) widely copied across the industry, and today building its Original, WL and S series in Downpatrick.
