Swedish designer and luthier who founded .strandberg* Guitars. Building guitars since the early 1980s, he began the ergonomic headless project that became the Boden in 2007 and developed the EndurNeck trapezoidal neck profile, multi-scale fretboards and the contoured, lightweight body shapes now closely identified with modern progressive guitar.

.strandberg* Guitars is a Swedish electric guitar and bass maker founded by luthier Ola Strandberg, whose ergonomic-guitar project began in 2007 and became a company commonly dated to 2012. The Boden platform — headless, multi-scale, ergonomically contoured, with the patented EndurNeck profile — is widely credited with popularizing headless guitars among progressive and metal players. The current range covers Boden Original, Standard, Prog, Metal, Essential and Futur lines, the more traditionally styled Sälen models, and Boden basses, with core Boden Original and Standard guitars moving from the NX generation to the arched-top N2 generation announced in September 2025.
