Tony Polecastro

Tony Polecastro is an American acoustic guitarist and guitar educator who describes himself as an acoustic guitar geek. He is the creator and host of the Acoustic Life YouTube channel and the Acoustic Tuesday show, and the founder of Tony's Acoustic Challenge, an online guitar learning program he built after years of teaching one-on-one lessons. His teaching focuses on structured, short daily practice for adult learners rather than open-ended lessons. As a recording guitarist he has released two full-length albums and two EPs of mostly instrumental guitar music ranging from American primitive to modern fingerstyle, including Hog's Back (2013), the Driftwood EP (2013), the Half Broke Horse EP (2015, with singer-songwriter Shelly Bessler) and Rodent (2020).
